It's all about a better way of doing things around here. Our PM's #1 job is to put the client first and we make that easy. With our system your PM will have everything that needs to be accounted for at their fingertips at all times. From day one we are on top of planning your project in detail by helping with the city planning, permitting, Labor bids, and material decisions and orders. Everything will be planned and executed without details falling through the cracks as soon as possible. There are unforeseen issues, but we help minimize that with our custom system. We also pair you with a PM that will fit your project needs. Let's get started today!

Cutting Edge Custom Software

How is our software better? Our software platform is designed to keep important management details from being missed. Our software is based on predecessors to make sure that the plans are correct, labor is bid properly, and materials are ordered on time. Meaning that our software will not let us proceed until all items on all trades and materials are accounted for. This is system is cutting edge and we believe will be the future of home remodeling. This software also allows Us to communicate with you on all labor and material items in real time. It keeps us accountable and keeps you in the know with all plans and documents at your fingertips. We can not rely on our skill alone to make sure your project is set up correctly, lets add in great technology to give us the edge that we need to make your project great from start to finish.

Relentless Communication

A project can only be completed successfully with communication, real communication. When we sign with you our communication does not drop off until the project is complete! There will be a design build process to detail everything on your project until we are ready to bring in tradesmen for bids. Then through the bidding and material costing phase we will continue to discuss every detail until we have your entire project package finalized before our start date. So, how do we communicate? We have weekly scheduled Video conferences or calls to discuss all details and record what is needed and what has been accomplished. Everything is stored for all parties to see what details

What makes us Different?

The CLIENT IS FIRST. Not a contractors bank account or overhead supply. This is key to how a project is managed. We do not play the money game of hiding info and protecting ourselves. This shouldn't be a struggle, and is a team effort. What really makes us different is our management system, our fee structure, and protection that we provide when tradesmen are paid; all in the effort to make the Client First. We all need a better way to remodel. We have top notch PM's that are dedicated to our vision and incentivized to take care of their clients. Inflation and Cost Of Living

Inflation brings rising Interest rates, material, and labor costs. So, traditional general contractors and design builds have to charge more as well. This is due to the fact that they are using a model that runs all the job cost through their hands and in doing so try to profit as much as possible off of your project (this is not wrong! but there is another way). This also cuts the would-be remodeling client that can't afford the traditional pricing model out of the picture. At the PM Network we do not have the overhead or the obligation of managing your money, so we can manage for less and will not take any extra due to robbing Peter to pay Paul as it's put. It's all about you. Thus saving you close to 20 to 40%. That is big!

Transparency

Transparency is a huge issue in construction. Remodelers are usually in the dark after they hand over a very large check to the GC or Design Build company. There are reasons for this and they are not all bad, but when companies have all of your funds then they can use them how they please. We do NOT do this. We provide a better way by taking a Fee instead of the entire project cost. Now you are in control of the money! No more issues with tradesmen being paid on time or materials not being ordered. No robbing Peter to pay Paul... either. We also limit liability on your project by not keeping you in the dark about tradesmen lien waivers. Did you know that if a contractor does not pay a sub, that sub can ask you directly for the money or lien your home if they gave a proper lien notice. We avoid this by having tradesmen give you a lien waiver so your home is protected from liens after you make your payments.

Great Tradesmen are also a major key a successful project. Our tradesmen are willing to operate by our philosophy. We Put our clients first and so must they. When we manage with our system tradesmen on our sites love our system because they are paid directly from the client and are protected with our requirements. You will love working with tradesmen under our system because it protects you as well. We make it easy for your project tradesmen to operate by equipping them with our live project details forum, a real time schedule, and on site management. We expect our project laborers to operate with integrity, honesty, and skill. We inspect and guide as needed to make sure the end product if finished properly before final payments. Its a win win for everyone!

How We Help Build Your Project Team

We have a better system for your project labor. Usually a GC or Design build will bring their team to your site and you get who you get. We bring out 2-3 great local companies per trade. Then we work together (after you meet them and we receive bids for your project) to pick the right tradesmen for your project and needs. This is better for you because you get to decide who is in your home, and our trades love it because they are bidding on a real job and only bid against 1-2 other people so they have a real shot at real work.

Its better for everyone, it's transparent, and puts the control back into your hands and puts tradesmen at ease.

How We Protect You And Your Home

Your Home is one of your greatest assets and we want to help protect that. In Minnesota companies that work in your home must give you a lien notice by law. This gives them the right to lien your home if you do not pay them for contracted work completed. What we do is protect you by requiring tradesmen on your project to submit a conditional lien waiver every time they receive payment from you. This protects you because you will be legally absolved of the amount that you have paid up to that point and the company that did the work can not place a lien on your property for payments to that point. This also protects the tradesmen as well as we require them to submit the proper paperwork to you before the project starts. So if there ever was an issue everyone's ducks are in a row. The PM Network will process all of the needed documents to make sure you and your home are protected in case of a dispute (God forbid). We are also great at problem resolution and only want the best for our clients and our tradesmen.

Did you Know? A subcontractor in MN can ask the homeowner directly for payment if they work for a General Contractor. Sometimes a GC does not pay their guys on time or even at all and this is law in MN to protect these hard working subs. At The PM Network we have a solution for this as we make sure everyone is paid directly from the client and manage all payments like clockwork. Again, better for everyone.

Best Insurance Practices For Remodeling

Did you know? When doing any construction project in your home, you the homeowner should be making sure you have the proper insurance coverage! Most homeowners do not know this and never look into it before having a project done at their house because we all assume that the contractors insurance will cover everything. When adding new footprint to your home you should always purchase Builders Risk Insurance during the construction phase of the project or comparable coverage through your existing homeowner’s insurance agent. When doing interior remodeling you should Always have your home owners insurance redo your replacement cost estimator. Then your home owners insurance will be increased to cover the new value of your home after the remodel.

Most people do not realize this when working with a GC or Design Build because those companies must carry insurance by state law. But, their insurance is not a guarantee that an issue will be covered or if they will protect you by fixing a liability issue on your property. We have seen and heard of to many folks left holding the bag after a contractor caused damage or made a huge mistake that costs tens of thousands of dollars and just walked away. This must be addressed and we want you to understand what is best for your liability before starting any project.

The Pm Network is Insured with liability and professional liability insurance. We require all of the tradesmen who work with you to provide proof of liability insurance by adding TPMN as an additional insured. That way we will be notified if their insurance lapses. Our goal here is to make things clear for you and our tradesmen. Transparency and proper preparation is key here and just gives you peace of mind as well.
